President Rodrigo Duterte will confer the Presidential Awards to 25 distinguished and outstanding overseas Filipinos and foreign-based organizations during an Awarding Ceremony to be held at Malacaรฑan Palace on December 5, 2018. The awardees come from 12 countries and territories and had gone through a rigorous four-stage selection process involving multi-sectoral representation. The Presidential Awards for Filipino Individuals and Organizations Overseas (PAFIOO) is the highest honour given by the Philippine government to Filipinos and organizations based overseas.ย
