The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) calls on all Presidential Awards for Filipino Individuals and Organizations Overseas (PAFIOO) awardees to take part in the Filipino Diaspora for Innovation and Development Project spearheaded by the Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDev) Innovation Staff, which also serves as the National Innovation Council (NIC) Secretariat.
As part of the project, DEPDev is conducting a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to gather insights from members of the Filipino diaspora on how the country can better engage its overseas talents and achievers in advancing the Philippinesโ innovation ecosystem.
Through this initiative, the government aims to strengthen collaboration with overseas Filipinos whose knowledge, experience, and creativity continue to drive inclusive growth and national development.
