During the courtesy visit, Dr. Fernandez shared with CFO her life as an overseas Filipino who lived and worked in Japan, Singapore, Belgium, and the United States. As a doctor and multi-awarded and highly respected woman healthcare executive, she authored a book entitled “The Expat” where she narrates her challenges and powerful life lessons from living, working, and traveling around the world.
Copies of The Expat book were presented to CFO Secretary Romulo V. Arugay and Undersecretary Valery Joy Brion. The book is now available at the physical stores of Central Books and online, including Amazon.
